White list Validator
Verify numbers of contractors' bank accounts with just one click
ASB Poland team has created a unique IT tool which verifies contractors' bank accounts in bulk. In addition, the program has an option to automatically generate a ready-to-send notification to the tax office which states not configuring the contractor's bank account on the taxpayer's "white list". Our tool will save time that typically would be spent on verifying the bank accounts of contractors before each payment. It is also a guarantee that the ability to settle tax-deductible costs over PLN 15,000 will not be lost.
The white list Validator is an IT tool that provides:
- bulk verification of contractors' bank accounts included on a “white list”;
- automatic process of generating a ready-to-send notification to the tax office which state not configuring of the contractor's bank account on the taxpayer's "white list".
Furthermore, the White list Validator:
- does not interfere with existing IT systems in the Company;
- works in the desktop version (it allows you to check the data on the company's computers without sending it outside to the external cloud, which ensures greater data security);
- there are no restrictions on the amount of account numbers checked;
- installs within 5 minutes.
“White list” of taxpayers – what is this?
From September 2019, the so-called "White list" - a new electronic register of entrepreneurs - VAT taxpayers, will apply. It will include information on registration, deregistration and taxpayer status, as well as current bank account numbers related to business activity. The information included in the "white list" will affect all VAT taxpayers who are parties to the transaction.
Why is verification of the bank account numbers of your contractors important?
From September 2019, the so-called "White list" will apply. This is a new electronic register of SME owners – VAT taxpayers. However, the most important element of the "white list" is the register of bank accounts. Payment of an invoice exceeding PLN 15,000 to an account number different than one included in the register will result in joint and several liabilities for the payer in the field of VAT and the loss of the right to settle the tax-deductible expenses in the remaining scope. To avoid any unpleasant surprises, taxpayers will need to check each counterparty’s bank account number in the register.
